The Hume Society offers receipted travel reimbursement to early career scholars (defined as those either still working toward their degree or no more than 5-years post-Ph.D.) whose institutional funding falls short of covering expenses associated with in-person conference participation. The amounts are up to USD $1,000 for presenting and $500 for commenting. Eligible scholars whose papers are accepted, or who are invited to comment, must contact the society's Vice President/Secretary-Treasurer, Jason Fisette (vicepresident@humesociety.org).
